Henderson Family Dentistry is a Henderson based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, veneers and more.
We also perform emergency dentist services that include bonding, root canals, crowns, and bridges. Dr. Brian Jackson
Dr. Brian Jackson grew up in Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School in 2001. He then attended Texas A&M University where he majored in Biomedical Science.
Dr. Jackson is a 2008 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He graduated with Cum Laude honors and earned the Clinical Excellence award. He is a member of the American Dental Association, East Texas Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Jackson is certified by the Texas State Dental Board in oral conscious sedation for children and adults.
Dr. Brian has completed over 1,000 hrs of continuing education in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He completed implant training courses at the Engel Institute in Charlotte, NC. He also attended C.A.R.D. Center of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from Dr. Steve Cutbirth of Waco, TX. At CARD he completed over 500 hours of advanced cosmetic and complex restorative training. He has also completed the advanced cosmetic and occlusion training from the Clinical Master Series.
Dr. Jackson is married to Tonya, and they have two daughters Peyton and Remington. Tonya teaches for Henderson I.S.D. and both girls attend Henderson schools where they are active in volleyball, cheerleading, and track. He considers himself as the best "cheer & volleyball dad" in Rusk county. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, crossfit, deer hunting, bass fishing, and new technology. He is committed to providing excellence in care to his patients.
Dr. Brent Jackson
Dr. Brent Jackson grew up in Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School in 2001. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 2001 MLB Draft but chose to play baseball at North Central Texas Junior College in Gainesville, TX. He then transferred to Texas A&M where he played baseball and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Biomedical Science.
Dr. Jackson is a 2009 graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. While there, he was the recipient of several awards including The Clinical Excellence Award. He also received a certificate of recognition from The American College of Dentists for the Outstanding Leader Award, along with The Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry Award. Dr. Jackson was also the recipient of the prestigious General Dentistry Award in 2009. Dr. Jackson is certified by the Texas State Dental Board in oral conscious sedation for children and adults.
Dr. Jackson is married to Dr. Chelsi Jackson. She is currently a family physician at the Trinity Mother Francis Clinic in Henderson. They have two sons, Cash & Tate. In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with family, deer hunting, bass fishing, and he enjoys coaching his boys in baseball. Dr. Jackson is committed to providing excellence in care for his patients.
Dr. Kent Thigpen DDS
Dr. Kent Thigpen is a native East Texan. He grew up in Omaha, TX, and graduated from Paul Pewitt high school in 1979. He then attended Texas A&M University where he majored in biochemistry.
Dr. Thigpen is a 1986 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He has maintained a private practice for 35+ years in Jefferson, TX. He brings valuable skills and experience to our practice. He is proficient and up-to-date in all phases of general dentistry. Kent has taken countless hours of continuing education in his career and has always been a member of the American Dental Association, East Texas Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Thigpen has been married to his wife Mary for 40+ years. Their daughter, Chelsi Jackson (Dr. Brent Jackson's wife) attended Texas A&M and is currently a family physician at the Christus family clinic in Henderson. Their son Allen also attended A&M where he majored in Chemical Engineering. Allen and his wife Megan currently reside in Houston while Megan attends dental school. Dr. Thigpen enjoys playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, and spending his time with family. He enjoys taking his grandsons Cash and Tate hunting and fishing, and is a dedicated Baseball Grandad! You can find him at many of the boy's games all year long.

Terri Sayers
R.D.H.
Terri obtained her R.D.H. license in 2010 and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2013. She was born and raised in Shreveport, La, and moved to Tyler in 1986 where she currently lives with her husband of over 33 years Marvin. They have two adult children Megan and Mason who also live in Tyler. Terri says her favorite things about working here is the family atmosphere, and great ethical Doctors. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and dogs as well as her grand dogs. She and her husband love to see live music on the weekends and work out together during the week.
Rachel Johnson
R.D.H.
Rachel obtained her R.D.H license in 2019 and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since May 2020. She was born and raised in Longview. She currently lives in Tyler, Tx with her husband Taylor. Rachel says her favorite thing about working here is "I love meeting and getting to know our patients. I want to make sure every patient has a comfortable visit.." In her spare time, she enjoys working out, and being outdoors. She loves spending time with family and friends and of course her fur babies Tito and Marley.
Shannon Bullock

Shannon obtained her R.D.H license in 1995, and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2014. Shannon was raised in Carthage where she currently resides with her husband Kaleb. They have four sons, Harrison a 2020 graduate of Texas A&M, Easton a 2020 graduate of Texas A&M, Coleman, and Braxton who attend Beckville ISD. Shannon says her favorite things about working here are that the staff all work together in order to have the best care for the patients, and our Doctors serve the community with Christian values. In her spare time she loves to watch her boys play sports, watching movies, and family get togethers, especially visits from her older sons.
Madison Byrd

Madison obtained her R.D.H. license in 2020 and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2021. She was born in Tyler, Tx, and raised in Troup, Tx where she currently lives with her husband of 3 years Kyle. They are expecting their first baby, a boy in September. Madison’s favorite thing about working here is how organized the office is and how everyone works so great as a team. In her spare time, she loves to go shopping and spend time with her family and friends as well as her dogs. CrossFit is also a favorite hobby for her.

Ashley Rios

Ashley has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2020. She was born and raised in Lufkin and Henderson, Texas where she currently lives with her three teen children Luis, Giselle, and Natalie. Ashley says her favorite thing about working here is "The environment, everyone is so kind and helpful. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Ashley loves to work out and go on weekend getaways.
Shanan Coats

Shanan has been a R.D.A. since 2010, and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2010. She was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. She lives in Henderson with her husband Shannon. They have 3 children; Colin, Casey and Jessica. Shanan says that her favorite thing about working here is “The patients!” In her spare time, she enjoys camping, participating in mission projects and spending time with her family.
Wendy Scarborough

Wendy has been a R.D.A. since 2005, and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2012. She lives in Henderson with her husband Justin and their children, Mason, Trenton, Kloe and Judge. Wendy says her favorite thing about working here is "Making people feel better about themselves. I enjoy working with such a wonderful and caring group of people." In her spare time she likes spending time with her kids, going to different sporting events, and hanging out with friends and family.
Ashley Mejias

Ashley has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2014. She currently lives in Henderson with her husband Angel and two children, Alexander and Avery. Ashley says that her favorite thing about working here are the awesome co-workers, doctors, and patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys camping, riding bikes, hiking, swimming, and reading.
Krysti Peacock

Krysti has been an R.D.A. since 2018 and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since Sept. 2020. She was born and raised in Henderson. She has one daughter Korie who is 9. Krysti said her favorite thing about working here is" the fun atmosphere, I love all the different personalities, I have already made a lot of new friends in my short time working here. Everyone is so welcoming and treats me like family. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, camping, and being outside. Mostly spending time with her daughter who is the perfect mixture of sweet and spunky.

Maria obtained her R.D.A. in 2020 and has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2021. She was born and raised in Henderson Tx. Maria is married to Daniel and they have two children Daniel Jr and Daezlei. Maria’s favorite thing about working here is the great atmosphere and wonderful Dr’s. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys shopping and traveling to Mexico as often as she can.

Lisa has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2013. She was born and raised in Carthage and Liberty City. She currently lives in Henderson with her husband Jeff. They have three children Trenton, Trevor, and Emma. Lisa says her favorite thing about working here is "I love working with the staff and Doctors that genuinely care about the patients and each other." In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her grandbabies. Holden, Kamdon and Kase and twins Kohen and Karter.
Brooklyn Robison

Brooklyn has been with Henderson Family Dentistry since 2021. She was born in Las Vegas NV and currently lives in Henderson. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her fiance Issac Haley, sons Carter, Kingston, and stepdaughter Adalynn. She loves Netflix and spending time with her friends on the weekends. Her favorite thing about working here is the amazing group of people she works with who have become more like family.
